Main Castle Accommodates  about 20   Using the main castle entrance, reserved for the tenants, access to the hall and main staircase which leads to the first floor (US : second floor) where all the bedrooms are located: For a" virtual visit" of these rooms ,you can click on the blue underlined words or framed pictures to see large JPEG photos or go to : Bedroom-suites photo album.   The Suite "Diane de Poitiers" with romantic canopied double bed and one single bed in main bedroom and  double bed in second room,  en-Suite full  bathroom  and kitchenette.  For 2  to 5  persons. 3-sided view of the park , Diane's pool, forest and main courtyard. Even from your bathtub, you can see lawns and hundreds of years old trees...The bedrooms are completely independent . Bedroom Suite  "Les Moutons " with 3 single beds , full bathroom En-Suite .For 2 or 3 persons.decorated with famous 18th century "Toile de Jouy " . Views of park and forest. Bedroom Suite  "George Sand "  with two  double beds , en-Suite full  bathroom  and kitchenette.  For 2-4 persons....Once the famous 19th century French writer's chamber....Views of park and forest. "Balcony" apartment with double bed and one single bed, full private shower room En-Suite. For 2-3 persons .  Romantic balcony. Views of park and forest. Apartment "Les Cerfs"  on the second floor ( US: third floor)  including  dining-room-bedroom  with One double bed and one single bed , one bedroom  with one double bed and one single bed , full bathroom , kitchenette. On the ground floor (US : first floor) of the castle a few meters from the main entrance a large French door opens on to the independent lounges. Two luxurious and comfortable lounges / dining rooms  with  antique and modern furniture  to relax. This unit is independent from the others and has no communication with bedrooms.   A large 19th-century sitting-room / dining - room , with armchairs, sofas, table and period chairs with Satellite TV (CNN and many international channels) , CD  player.                      Second   dining-room -  kitchen (electric stove, oven, dishwasher, coffeemaker, fridge ) .

 

The two Cottages ( Self-contained Guest Houses)  accommodates a few more Rose Garden Cottage Surrounded  by all kind of  "old fashioned " flowers from spring to autumn, overlooking the Rose Garden and Diane's pool : the independent and spacious self contained cottage, at once rustic and luxurious. Fully equipped kitchenette  :  cooker, oven, fridge/freezer washing-machine, dishwasher, microwave ,coffeemaker ,iron, ironing table , china ,cutlery , glasses pots, pans, utensils ...   Fully carpeted Room with a wonderful canopied double-bed , one single bed and rustic furniture,  large walk-in wardrobe .Views on rose garden and forest   Small sitting-room   Fully carpeted Room with 3 single   beds , rustic furniture . Views on castle's main courtyard lawns.  Full bathroom with large corner bath tub ,washing basin , toilets . Views on castle's main courtyard lawns. Terrace with garden furniture  in the middle of all sorts of flowers ,   roses and  trees, nearby the very romantic Diane's pond .

 

The Red Horse Cottage (Self-contained Guest House)

Semi detached cottage next to Rose Garden Cottage,  including:

   

	Bedroom on a level with the garden, with double-bed and two single  beds, large French window opening on the park.
	Dining room-kitchen with full equipment.

Large shower room and toilets.

 

 

Outside sports ground

Park

The park is not open to visitors and is reserved exclusively to our guests. The Castle area is pedestrian only : no cars except for maintenance, no pollution ,no danger for children. This haven of tranquility is deliciously  romantic .

Rates in Euros 

Note: The rates include all charges ,taxes  and central heating from October 1st to April 30th. 

Kit of new recyclable   linen ( sheets, towels) offered .

 

These premises are rented to one party at the time. You will be the only party in the castle ...The owners live in a private wing .  Accommodations are self-contained : each unit is independent and has private entrance. The park is not open to visitors and is reserved to our guests. The Castle area is pedestrian only: no cars except for maintenance, no pollution. Renting for 16-20, you will be the only party inside the castle's gates. This haven of tranquility is deliciously  romantic

 

Arrival and Departure Time:

Arrival  Saturday :  4  p.m. to 6 pm.  Departure : the following  Saturday 9 a.m.

Security Deposit: returned after  departure: 1,200 Euros

This is not a hotel.  Housekeeping non supplied.  We do not serve breakfast nor meals.

 

Linen :

New in 2009! We offer our guests a welcome gift :  a new product:  anti-allergic , environmentally friendly and recyclable    linen .

Stays of a week : one  Prestige bed Kit  :  two flat sheets, two pillow cases, two bath towels  per double  bed  and two flat sheets, one  pillowcase , one bath towel  per single bed

Short stays: a standard bed Kit : 2 flat sheets, 1 bath towel   per single or double  bed .

Obviously if you prefer you can bring  your own traditional  towels , sheets and  pillow cases.

 

 Rental Terms and Conditions 

Sorry, pets are not accepted.

At the time of reservation the tenant shall pay a non-refundable 30% security deposit of the total rental price. The reservation can be cancelled, but the non-refundable deposit is forfeited.

The remaining balance of  70% must be paid 45 days before arrival. If  the tenant has  not credited it to the  to  the owner's account  30 days before arrival, he is considered to  have cancelled reservation and the owner has the right to find other client  for the same period.

The security deposit has to be paid 45 days before  arrival , and is refunded according to French laws on Holiday Rentals.

An inventory of fixtures and detailed furniture inventory is  is available for the tenant.

At your departure, the premises should be left as clean and tidy as on arrival.

The private quarters of the owners are excluded in this rental proposal. The owners and their employees , gardener... keep the right to care about the garden , cut and water the grass , and do the necessary maintenance with maximum discretion.

The described premises are at the tenant's disposal, except for cases of absolute necessity or technical reasons beyond the owner's control.

Depending on availability, you may rent the castle for shorter time periods or week-ends.
